The laboratory has a long track record of providing services using chromatographic (HPLC and GC) and capillary electrophoresis methods for pharmaceutical, agro and chemical industry as well as academia.

Among other competencies, the laboratory implements and validates separative methods, performs amino acid analysis, protein sequencingand characterization of natural products.

More recently the laboratory has been involved in the development of high throughput methods using FTIR for the food and chemical industry.

Sensory panels are used for colour, taste, aroma, odour, texture and flavour characterization.
