Waste valorisation area

The area of Waste Valorisation uses green technology for the extraction and fractionation of products of low added value such as agroindustrial residues. Supercritical fluid and membrane technologies are used for the production and fractionation of extracts from natural products. Identification and quantification of the constituents of the extracts are achieved by LC, GC and LC-MS.
