National Contact Point – EU 7th Framework Programme

Maria João Fernandes has been selected as National Contact Point (NCP) for the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7), giving support on themes 1 (Health) and 2 (Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology) of the Cooperation Specific Programme, under a contract established with the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).

NCPs are national structures established and financed by governments of the European Union member states and the states associated to the framework programme established to give personalized support, guidance, practical information and assistance on all aspects of participation in FP7.

Maria João Fernandes work in IBET headquarters under direct coordination of the Gabinete de Promoção do 7º Programa Quadro (GPPQ).
