iBET attended the 2020 virtual edition of Advanced Therapies Congress & Expo 2020, from 8 to 11 September. At this conference, iBET researchers presented oral communications and participated as panelists in several discussion panels:
- Manuel Carrondo coordinated the Panel Discussion entitled Process development for next generation therapeutics
- Margarida Serra presented insights on Bioinspired manufacturing of hPSC-based therapy products, participated in a Q&A Panel on Cell Therapy Manufacturing strategies and in a Panel Discussion entitled Moving towards ‘smart’ and ‘flexible’ integrated process pipelines
- Ricardo Silva shared his knowledge in an oral communication entitled Continuous downstream processing, from gene therapy viruses to exosomes
With the motto “Research. Develop. Collaborate. Commercialise”, this congress covered key therapy areas and development stages up to commercialisation and market access. It was a great opportunity to share insights about the potential of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) and explore synergies to support research and clinical development of ATMPs.
