On September 14 and 16, we received Hitto Kaufmann, Senior Vice President and CSO at Pieris, and member of our Scientific Advisory Board, for two workshops entitled “Building a Culture to Let Things Emerge”.
As part of iBET’s new Programme on Advanced Training and Career Development, these workshops aimed at providing our group leaders and senior scientists with tools to better interact with their teams and lead projects and collaborations with the pharmaceutical industry.
The topics covered included a brainstorming on Leadership vs Management, Feedback Practice exercises, and short lectures on Strategy and on Research Alliances with Pharma Companies.
The participants were highly engaged and took this valuable opportunity to also learn from each other and share experiences around the themes discussed.
