Mónica Thomaz is a Senior Bioprocess Engineer at iBET Late Stage R&D and Bioproduction Unit, since 1993.
Mónica holds a graduation in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, UTL (Technical University of Lisbon).
She joined iBET in 1993, and the area of expertise has been the development, optimization and scale up of production processes of biological products, in bacteria, yeast, animal and insect cell cultures. Since she started working at iBET, she has been the project manager of several R&D projects and production processes of antibodies and recombinant proteins, for several pharmaceutical companies.
