Pedro Matias is the Head of the Molecular Biophysics Laboratory of the Structural Biology for Drug Discovery, Health and Pharma Division.
He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the Instituto Superior Técnico and obtained his PhD in Crystallography with the University of Pittsburgh. During his PhD, contributed to 6 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
He joined iBET in 2008, first as head of the Proteomics Unit, and later Director of the Structural Biology for Drug Discovery Unit.
