Offer Description

iBET is seeking a highly motivated Facilities & Utilities Engineer to join our Engineering & Utilities Area.

The Facilities & Utilities Engineer will report directly to the Head of Engineering & Utilities and will play a key role in ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of iBET’s technical infrastructures and utilities. This position is crucial for maintaining the performance of critical systems and supporting the ongoing development of iBET’s facilities.

In this role, you will support the optimisation and maintenance of essential utilities and building systems, contribute to multidisciplinary projects, ensure the reliability of technical operations, and promote continuous improvement across iBET’s infrastructure through a proactive, hands‑on engineering approach.

Tasks and Responsabilities

 

  • Project Development: Participate in planning, development, and monitoring of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with established plans and reliability of equipment.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of facilities and utilities, proposing improvements to enhance energy and operational efficiency
  • Continuous improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of new methodologies and technologies.

 

Admission Requirements

  • Degree or master’s degree in electrical Engineer and at least 2-3 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Experienced with control and automation systems (preferred).
  • Experience in laboratory, hospital, or pharmaceutical environments is valued.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, automation and control systems
  • Good knowledge/Proficiency in English, spoken and written
  • Strong communication and organization skills, with effective priority management
  • Strong willingness to help and a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Goal-driven profile
  • Motivation to work as a team player
  • Resilience and ability to work and make decisions under pressure
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to learn
