PhD Scientist- Cell Line Development Gene Therapy

iBET has an open call to hire a PhD holder to develop research activities according with the law D.L. n.º 57/2016, of August 29^th, updated by the law n.º 57/2017, July 19^th within the IC&TD Project “EVADE- Enabling AAV vector-based gene therapies: expanding vector genome cargo size and enhancing delivery efficiency”, LISBOA2030-FEDER-00713000/15992

General requirements

1. Any national, foreigner and stateless candidate(s) holding a PhD degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology or similar areas.
2. 5 years of experience in molecular biology for the expression in mammalian cells;
3. 5 years of experience in animal cell culture;
4. Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Specific requirements

1. 5 years of experience in viral vectors for gene therapy;
2. Experience in adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors genome and capsid engineering;
3. Experience in AAV vector transduction and titration assays;
4. Experience in the development of dual AAV vectors;
5. Experience in flow cytometry; fluorescence microscopy, PCR, Wester Blot and ELISA methodologies.
