PhD Scientist- Translational Immunology

iBET is seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Scientist to join the Translational Immunology team

Education and Experience

• PhD Degree in Biological, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or relevant scientific field with knowledge in Molecular Biology, In vitro Cellular Models, Immunology, Immuno-Oncology or equivalent.

 Technical Skills

• Highly autonomous and productive in performing laboratory research or method development
• Good understanding of the interplay between adaptive/innate immunology with relevance to prevention and therapy of diseases.
• Experience in cell culture of primary immune cells and mammalian cell lines
• Experience in molecular biology and genetic engineering methods (including PCR, transcriptomics, vector cloning, cell transfection and lentivirus transduction, targeted/site-specific integration)
• Experience in cell analytic methods (flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy, functional assays)
• Experience in relevant software for data analysis and visualization (e.g. GraphPad Prism, ImageJ, FlowJo, R)
• Experience of interacting optimally across subject areas, cultures and expertise
• Experience in collaboration projects with both academic and pharmaceutical industry partners
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written
