Research Fellowship (MSc) – Cell Therapy
Intro
iBET has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Biological Engineering available within the project “Next generation, off-the-shelf, non fratricide-directed CAR immunotherapy for relapse/refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia“ Ref. 101113067, financed by European Commission.
Admission Requirements
Education:
Master in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry and related areas, with final grade equal or superior to 15/20.
Experience:
1) Mammalian or human stem cell culture techniques;
2) Lentiviral transduction protocols;
3) Analytics for characterization of cells (flow cytometry, metabolism, immunofluorescence microscopy);
4) 3D cell culture;
5) CAR-T cell manufacturing.
Proficient use of the English language, both spoken and written (candidates with internships and/or periods abroad will be valued). Motivation for applied research and good teamwork skills will be valued.
Work Plan
Development of bioprocesses for manufacture of CAR-T cells and methodologies for their characterization.
Fellowship Duration
The fellowship will have a duration of 6 months, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 1 of July of 2024.
