Research Fellowship (MSc) – Animal Cell Technology Unit

iBET, has an open position for a research fellowship available within the project “BioTools4CAR – Advanced bioanalytic solutions to support CAR-based products development and manufacturing challenges: from viral vectors to CAR-expressing cells”, financed by internal funds

Master’s degree with final grade equal or superior to 17/20 in the scientific areas described.

Experience in:

• Sample prep of complex biological samples (e.g. protein/peptide purification, concentration, digestion, …);
• Analytics for characterization of proteins/peptides (e.g. mass spectrometry, ELISA, SDS-PAGE,…).
• Proteomics/peptidomics/metabolomics data handling and analysis.

Motivation for research in the field of analytics, namely, in the characterization of complex biological products.

Proficient use of the English language, both spoken and written);

Good organizational and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team;

BioTools4CAR project addresses bioanalytical challenges associated with the development and manufacturing of novel therapeutics, such as CAR-based cell therapy. The project activities include:

1. Implementation of bioanalytics for the characterizationof biological products
2. Quantitative proteomics

The fellowship will have a duration of 6 months, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 15 of January of 2026.
