Research Fellowship (MSc) – Antibody Discovery

iBET,has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Biotechnology available within the project iSeRa-AI: Interactive Sequence Ranker (iSeRa) with improved candidate Antibody Identification (AI) through machine learning, Ref. 788 – iSeRa-AI_AF, financed by iBET Xplore funds.

Education:

Master in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related scientific areas

Experience:

– Phage display; Molecular biology techniques for DNA preparation and sequencing; Mammalian cell culture

– High motivation to perform research in antibody discovery

– Good organizational and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

– Good use of the English language.

Phage display panning campaigns will be performed against a variety of targets. Preparation of DNA for Next-Generation Sequencing, data analysis and selection of antibody candidates. Production of the selected antibodies in mammalian cells and characterization of their binding and biophysical properties.

The fellowship will have a duration of 12 months, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 1 of March of 2025.
