Admission Requirements
Master’s or Doctorate in Biotechnology and/or Bioengineering
- Experience in purification and characterization of viral vectors.
- Experience in bioprocessing of biologics and scale-up.
- High motivation to conduct research in multidisciplinary teams.
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Good knowledge of English.
Work Plan
The NAAVIGATE project aims to unravel the complexities of cellular trafficking of AAV vectors and evaluate two new molecular strategies for capsid engineering to overcome their low transduction efficiency, ultimately resulting in the use of lower vector doses. The candidate will be actively involved in the scientific activities of the project and the research group. In particular, the candidate will be expected to carry out the following activities.
- Production, purification, and characterization of purification materials.
- Recording the batches of viral vector purification.
- Assisting in the production of technical reports and documents.
