Research Fellowship (PhD) – Microbiology & Molecular Biology

iBET, has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Microbiology available within the project Tec4Green, Ref. P-1064, financed by funds from IPAMEI – PRR (Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência), “Agendas/Alianças Mobilizadoras para Reindustrialização”

• Academic degree – Doctorate in Chemical Engineering or related scientific area
• Experience in the recovery of bioactive compounds using electromembrane technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of the English language.

The work will be integrated in WP 1 at the task of extracting bioactive compounds from products and by-products of the agri-food and agroforestry industry, namely olive-based raw materials, using green, ecological and sustainable methodologies and technologies.

The fellowship will have a duration of 8 months, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 1 of May of 2025.
