Research Technician – Animal Cell Technology Unit

iBET is looking for a Research Technician to join our Animal Cell Technology Unit (ACTU), contributing to cutting-edge research in the field of antibody discovery. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, bridging academia and industry. At iBET, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that partners with global biopharma leaders to develop innovative biotechnological solutions with real-world impact.

As a Research Technician, you will support ongoing projects in molecular biology and antibody discovery, contributing to the development and optimization of experimental workflows. You will work closely with scientists and engineers in a collaborative setting, helping to advance therapeutic antibody research.

• Supporting antibody discovery workflows.
• Performing molecular biology and microbiology experiments (e.g., DNA extraction, cloning, transformation, PCR).
• Analyzing DNA sequencing data (e.g., sequence alignment).
• Performing biochemical assays (e.g., ELISA).
• Documenting experimental procedures and results.
• Preparing data reports and contributing to internal presentations

• MSc or PhD in a relevant scientific field.
• Experience in molecular biology and microbiology work.
• Experience in antibody discovery will be valued.
• Strong organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment coupled with a proven ability to learn.
• Initiative and creativity to generate new scientific ideas in research or development activities
