Biography

I am the Operations Manager at iBET, where I coordinate a cross-functional team dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of our research facilities. My role spans lab management, procurement, logistics, and support services, all aimed at creating an efficient, well-supported environment for iBET’s research initiatives.

Before moving into operations, I spent over a decade at iBET as a researcher, making significant contributions to biotechnology and virus-based therapies. I began my journey in 2008 as a research trainee, and my Ph.D. work focused on developing fluorescent cell-based biosensors for real-time virus detection—an innovation that led to a patented biosensing method. Over the years, I collaborated on R&D projects with industry partners, advancing biosensing, cell engineering, and viral vector development. Additionally, I mentored master’s students, helping foster the collaborative and rigorous research culture that defines iBET.

Today, I draw on my scientific background and “get things done” mentality to coordinate a team of nine professionals. Together, we ensure that all laboratory activities are supported by robust infrastructure and streamlined processes. My responsibilities include managing resource allocation and overseeing the entire procurement and inventory lifecycle, from vendor negotiations to distribution and storage.

I am proud to contribute to an environment where research teams have the resources, infrastructure, and support they need at iBET to thrive and push the boundaries of scientific innovation.
