Biography
I am a Scientist at Novartis Pharma Laboratory at iBET since 2020. During this time, I’ve been working on the developability assessment of therapeutic proteins and in the development of bioanalytical methods.
I hold a master’s degree in biotechnology from University of Lisbon (IST, 2013) and a PhD in biopharmaceutical technology from Nova University Lisbon (FCT, 2020).
Previous professional experience includes a research internship in the field of carbohydrates purification and profiling, a research fellowship in protein downstream processing (IBB-IST, 2014) and an iBET Xplore research fellowship in the mAbs&CF Project (iBET, 2020).
During my academic and professional path, I was able to extend my expertise in the upstream and downstream processing of biopharmaceutical products, as well as in bioanalytical methods for protein characterization.
