iBET Post-Docs were present at the Third Cross-Institutional Meeting of Young Researchers

iBET Post-Docs attended the Third Cross-Institutional Meeting of Young Researchers, held on 19-21 October 2016 in Tróia, Portugal. Postdoctoral researchers from leading bioscience institutes of Lisbon (Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Champalimaud Foundation / Fundação Champalimaud, IBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica, ITQB NOVA, Instituto de Medicina Molecular) met to discuss several topics, among which possibilities for inter-insitutional collaboration and the recent law on the transition from fellowships to contracts. The meeting also comprised several workshops and talks on various subjects, such as Time managment and Leadership skills, Grant writing, Alternative careers and Science fundraising.
