iBET was present at 1st International Conference on Advanced Production and Processing
Researchers from iBET participated in the 1st International Conference on Advanced Production and Processing (ICAPP), held from 10 to 12 April in Novi Sad, Serbia.
The 1st ICAPP, with the theme “Step Forward”, was a comprehensive scientific conference with a focus on advanced research on production and processing in various fields of technology.
Main topics discussed at the meeting were Food Technology, Biotechnology, Nutraceuticals and Pharmaceuticals, Materials Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Refining, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Development.
At ICAPP, iBET contributed with an oral communication entitled "Extraction of Biopolysaccharides from Marine Biomass using Alternative Solvents" which was presented by Naiara Fernández. In addition, Naiara was co-chair of a lecture session on "Innovative Food Science and Bioprocesses".
