iBET was present at Food Matters Live 2015, the leading UK event for food, health and nutrition

Food Matters Live is the UK's first cross-sector event bringing together professionals from across Europe with stakes in the food and drink industry, nutrition and health to address one of the most important challenges of our time: the relationship between food, health, nutrition and their connections with the environment, population health and wellbeing. This year alone over 400 organizations took part in the Food Matters Live exhibition.

The exhibition floor included a dedicated Research Pavilion, sponsored for the second year by Tesco Food Academy, and hosted many of the food sector’s leading research on innovative and functional ingredients, R&D organizations as well as the stand out academic institutions.

iBET actively contributed to this event with an institutional stand and a talk in a conference dedicated to “Nutrition for Heart Health” and in which Rosário Bronze presented the clinical trial results and main conclusions of a project coordinated by SOVENA (Azeite+Global) and in which iBET, the Pharmacy School of the University of Lisbon and The University of Glasgow participated.
