Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society Meeting

Paula Alves, CEO of iBET, was a Keynote Speaker at 6th world congress of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS2021), held from 15 - 19 November 2021.

Paula presented a keynote entitled “Pluripotent Stem Cells for Drug Development and Therapy: Bioprocess Development Challenges” providing an overview of the bioprocess development challenges of stem cells bioprocessing. The keynote was integrated in the congress session “Frontiers of Bioprocessing and automation in tissue engineering & regenerative medicine".

The TERMIS World Congress is held every three years, and brings together researchers, scientists, clinicians, trainees and students from both academia and industry to discuss critical developments in the field. TERMIS 2021 was focused on biologically inspired technology driven regenerative medicine.
