    If you register for an event or conference organized by iBET, it collects information by completing forms such as: name, title, institution, address, country, telephone number, email address. This information is collected only if consent is given. The information you provide to iBET will be used internally to process your specific request.You may choose to provide iBET your credit card data to pay for a conference registration, or for any other product or service. iBET does not voluntarily disclose your credit card information to any subcontracted organization or individual who is not hired by iBET to process your payment.

The data collected shall be processed within the framework referred to in paragraph 3. For those cases where consent is given, it shall only be applicable for the purposes indicated, namely:

  • Contact and interact with users:
    • Sending information,namely newsletter communications,through the channels chosen by the user, such as by e‐mail, in the strict terms defined by the applicable legislation;

5. How long do we keep your personal data

iBET has a data retention policy that determines how long we keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Note: The data for sending the newsletter will be kept until the data subject requires its deletion.
