I am involved in the management of collaborative projects with Sanofi, focusing on the application of ‘omic technologies, functional data analysis, and genetic engineering for production of complex antibody products in mammalian cells.

My contributions have led to the optimization of analytic protocols, generation of knowledge on cell mechanisms, and improvement of antibody production strategies, which have been successfully transferred to our partner. This work as also been disseminated to the scientific community, through scientific publications and presentations at international conferences.

In addition to my scientific work, I manage iBET’s sports club: iBET Move, which promotes social, cultural, and health welfare among the iBET community.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology (2011) from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, an MSc in Biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico (2013), and a doctoral degree in Bioengineering from MIT Portugal programme (2019), conducted at iBET’s Stem Cell Bioengineering Laboratory. My doctoral work focused on cardiac progenitor cells and human in vitro models for acute myocardial infarction.

CV highlights: author of 11 manuscripts and 1 book chapter, supervision of a master student, over 20 scientific meeting participations.

Over the last 10 years, I have developed expertise in project management, omics analysis, and animal cell culture.
