José Escandell and Ana Coroadinha at ASGCT 2026
Sharing expertise on AAV Engineering and Production platforms
José Escandell, Principal Scientist at the Animal Cell technology Unit and Ana Sofia Coroadinha, Head of Cell Line Development and Molecular Virology Lab, presented at the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT) annual Meeting, held in Boston, from May 11-15.
José gave a talk on “Cell line engineering strategies to establish the next-generation of HeLaS3 platform for rAAV production”, highlighting a next-generation rAAV production platform integrating genome-wide functional cell engineering with a time-efficient CLD strategy.
Ana presented a poster entitled “Expanding Therapeutic Genome Delivery Beyond AAV Cargo size Limits.”, focusing on vector engineering strategies, at both the vector transgene cassette and capsid levels to enable extended and improved cargo delivery.
