Salomé Neto Wins Best Slam Oral Presentation at SPICA 2024
Best Slam Presentation: Efficient AAV Purification with Affinity Functionalized Nanofiber Adsorbents
A team of iBET scientists recently participated in the 19th International Symposium on Preparative and Industrial Chromatography and Allied Techniques (SPICA) 2024 in Milan, Italy, making notable contributions to the symposium’s scientific program.
1st Place for Best SPICA Slam Presentation
A standout moment was the recognition of iBET PhD student Salomé Neto, who was awarded 1st place in the Best SPICA Slam Presentation by a young investigator competition.
Salomé’s presentation focused on Efficient AAV Purification with Affinity Functionalized Nanofiber Adsorbents and resulted from a long-standing collaboration with Cytiva. This award further highlights iBET’s ongoing contributions to cutting-edge research in bioprocessing and chromatography.
