Funds Raised from Team Building Event Donated to CERCI Oeiras
Team Building with a Purpose
On June 25th, members from our People & Culture team (Tânia Costa and Sara Rebelo) and External Affairs team (Ana Amaral and Andreia Freitas) had the pleasure of visiting CERCI Oeiras. They were warmly welcomed by Raquel Pereira (CERCI Oeiras’ General Director), who provided a captivating overview of the institution’s impactful projects and a tour of the facilities.
About CERCI Oeiras
Founded in 1975, CERCI Oeiras plays a crucial role in the local community, advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. The institution provides support to over 1000 citizens through its various social services, including the Centre of Activities and Capacitation for Inclusion (CACI) and dedicated care for 50 permanent residents.
CACI offers a range of activities designed to promote the wellbeing, self-esteem, and enhance the personal/social autonomy of these individuals. These include painting, weaving and crafting, occupational and physical therapy, sensory stimulation, hydrotherapy, gardening, and more.
During their visit, the iBET team was warmly greeted by the residents who were eager to share their artistic talents and preferences.
Making a Positive Impact Together
Aiming to contribute to CERCI Oeiras’ incredible work, iBET is proud to announce a donation to the institution. This donation stems directly from the enthusiastic participation of over 180 iBETians in our team building event, held last June 18th.
iBET extends its heartfelt congratulations to CERCI Oeiras for their remarkable work and tireless dedication. We were truly inspired by their achievements and optimistic that, together, we can continue spreading kindness and making a positive impact in our community.
