Growing a Greener Future

Over 300 trees were planted at Quinta de Cima do Marquês (near our campus) on March 21st in celebration of International Day of Forests.

The initiative, organized by the Oeiras Municipality, aimed to revitalize the area’s natural flora and contribute to a greener Oeiras.

iBET researchers, alongside colleagues from INIAV – Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária, participated in the event and planted several mulberry trees (both white and black varieties).
